| Don't do rebuilt turbos. Sport 500's require machining the stock compressor housing and new Sport 500 chras + machine work will add up. JDM engines are crapshoot however if thats all you have in your budget make sure you tear it down to the longblock and at the very least check /replace rod bearings, reseal the entire engine with engine gasket set + do the 120 k service. i would also recommend replacing the bov's with factory recirculation valves OR atleast putting on a recirculation kit. If you have 6k and can do the engine R & R yourself Here is what i would get. JDM engine Engine gasket set Oil pump rod bearings as needed 120 k kit knock sensor (if needed) knock sensor sub harness EFI harness if needed JECS new style inj + DW adapters to fit old fuel rail Stock NEW CHRAS Stock NEW oil lines ECU tune to match the injector size you choose Stock recirculation valves OR recirculate your BOV's if possible NEW Stage II capable clutch (RPS, Southbend or JWT) Downpipes if you don't have already Test pipes if you don't have already Catback of your choice if you don't have already JWT Intake if you don't have already Underdrive pulley Misc OEM stuff as needed, you will be surprised how all the OEM stuff will nicle and dime you. In short a concentrate on building a good stage III + setup with the cash you have available. If you add up the above and have has left over i would consider getting a stock rebuild. Kyle has excellent services but you have options closer to home that are as good and cheaper. Harry
